Events This Week In First Grade:
Next Friday is Pajama Day for the Entire School!
Please let your child come to school in their favorite PJ's next Friday. They can come into school wearing their PJ’s. If they want to play in the snow at recess, make sure that they have a change of clothes, boots and snowpants!
Tuesday is Valentine’s Day
We will exchange valentines on Tuesday, February 14th. A list of all of the children's names in the class has been sent home today. Please know that this exchange is optional and voluntary. If your child decides to send in valentines, please help to prevent any broken hearts by making sure they send a valentine in for everyone. Homemade and handmade valentines are not only allowed but encouraged!
Museum of Science Field Trip on March 10th
A permission slip for the Museum of Science field trip on March 10th has been sent home. Please send in the permission slip and money by February 27th. Four chaperones are needed for this trip. It’s a really fun, educational trip which begins with a show in the Planetarium, followed by lunch and a visit to some other exhibits.
